MIC move to larger warehouse in order to expand the stock of replacement parts held in the UK
11th February 2006 - News Ref. 060211-1

As the total number of gamma cameras and also different makes & models of gamma camera that MIC service gradually increases, the quantity of replacement parts that we stock also increases. Our philosphy is to stock every single component that makes up a particular gamma camera and with that stock being held in the UK, it means our customers are less likely to experience delays caused by components having to be flown in from abroad when a system goes down. It's highly likely we have that part in the UK ready for delivery to site within a matter of hours rather than days. Of course this stock takes up plenty of space, so we found it necessary to move to a larger storage facility.
